It intends to integrate efforts from government institutions, private sector firms and civil society organizations.

The Energy Forum of Sri Lanka is a group of people from development organizations, the private sector, and professional and academic institutions. Its aims are to lobby for policy changes to support decentralized energy options and to share information, experience and ideas. It is an independent non-profit organization established in 1991.
